if i could give this place 12 stars; i would. the staff is very accommodating, sweet, and helpful. we celebrated our 3 year anniversary here because i have been wanting to try them for the longest. our server, Sam, had the kindest soul and even helped recommend a tea for us to try! we are not big tea drinkers but we enjoyed the tea he recommended so much that we bought some to take home. Sam even gave us with a dessert for our anniversary and the staff offered to take pictures for us. 10/10 recommend. we came on a tuesday around 3 and it was pretty empty, if you're looking for a cute date spot but don't want the crowd i recommend coming on a weekday, i also recommend Sam as a server. thank you chado tea room.

My friend and I went for the Bridgerton experience and we had the most amazing time!! Service was impeccable, food was outstanding and ambiance was lovely. The manager was attentive and they allowed us to change some of the items. We went all out on our outfits and were hoping others would as well. It's so much fun! We weren't rushed out and got to enjoy our tea and experience. I had some leftovers and my husband loved the sandwiches and desserts. This is a must go place! Wonderful tea as well we bought some to enjoy at home. Highly recommended.

Fancy decor, kind staff, and delicious scones and sandwiches. I made a reservation for afternoon high tea with my friend and was able to leave work early to arrive at Chado Tea Room around 4PM. My reservation was at 5PM, but they had plenty of open tables on a Friday evening and we were seated immediately. We spent a solid 2 hours catching up and eating. Definitely a lovely place to enjoy with the girls. We both ordered the Bridgerton Afternoon Tea which comes with a free gift at the end for $65 per person. I almost forgot about the gift until the staff gave us two round boxes with a teacup and saucer inside. If you're not looking to take home a teacup and saucer, the standard menu afternoon tea time is $20 cheaper. The scones were made fresh and tasted delicious with the preserves. My friend had strawberry preserves and I had apricot or peach preserves. The balance of the sweet scones and cakes and savory sandwiches was perfect. The hibiscus tea that I chose was a little too tart for my liking, but the passionfruit tea my friend picked out was light and aromatic. Despite how small and adorable everything looked, my friend and I were both full. The staff was incredibly sweet as well. They were attentive and kindly offered to take our photos without us asking. FYI - I parked in the structure on Green Street and walked 2 blocks over.
